AJP acknowledges the importance of biodiversity, both as an objective in its own right, and a way to protect the interests of individual sentient beings. 

We will prioritise rewilding of farm land and the expansion of wetland restorations already in place. AJP will provide incentives for animal farmers to rewild land. 

AJP will repeal Resource Management legislation so that councils are required to protect significant trees. And we will ensure there are wildlife corridors in urban areas.

Educational resources that teach children about the importance of preserving biodiversity will be encouraged.
