The Animal Justice Party Aotearoa NZ is required by law to keep records of all donors and donations. This information is kept private unless public disclosure is required by the Electoral Act.

Any citizen, voter, organization, or company of New Zealand can donate as much as they like to the Animal Justice Party Aotearoa NZ. Donations exceeding $30,000 in a 12-month period must be immediately disclosed to the Electoral Commission.

Please note that New Zealand political parties cannot accept donations exceeding $50 from individuals who reside outside New Zealand and are neither New Zealand citizens nor registered electors. Political parties cannot accept donations exceeding $50 from a body corporate incorporated outside of New Zealand or an unincorporated body that has its head office or principal place of business outside New Zealand. Donations exceeding $50 that do not meet these criteria will be returned to the donor.

Donations to political parties are not tax-deductible in New Zealand.
